James Baublitz is co-founder of Panoramic Capital Academy, the nation’s leading mortgage capital markets educator, and Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, for First Home Mortgage Corporation. At Panoramic Capital Academy, James develops course curriculum on a wide range of topics including loan sale and hedging strategy, and serves as an instructor for Panoramic’s Masters and Executive courses. Previously, James served as Managing Director, Pipeline Analytics within Black Knight’s Secondary Marketing Technologies division, and was a partner with Compass Analytics before its sale to Black Knight in 2019. A mortgage capital markets educator and strategist, James has over eighteen years of capital markets experience. James lives with his family in Baltimore, is a graduate of Susquehanna University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®).
Brad Eskridge

Brad Eskridge is a seasoned capital markets solution specialist. He joined Optimal Blue in June 2023 and has since been instrumental in supporting the sales organization as the subject matter expert for hedging software and services. Brad leads strategy conversations and software demonstrations with prospective customers, showcasing his expertise and commitment to the role.
Before joining Optimal Blue, Brad held several significant roles in various companies. He served as VP, SVP, director, and managing director at MIAC Analytics. Prior to that, he was the secondary marketing manager at Dover Mortgage Company, VP of secondary marketing at New Day Financial, and director of secondary marketing at USA Home Loans. He also held positions at Aegis Mortgage Corporation as VP, pricing manager, and at Coastal Mortgage Services as senior secondary marketing analyst.
Brad holds a BSBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, further solidifying his credentials in the field. His extensive experience and educational background make him a valuable asset in the realm of capital market solutions.

Alex Temple is a Partner at Mitchell Sandler LLP where she advises mortgage lenders, servicers, and fintech companies on complex regulatory compliance, legal risk, and operational strategy across the mortgage lifecycle.
Alex is widely recognized for her ability to translate evolving regulatory requirements into practical, business-oriented solutions for financial institutions. Drawing on experience as both outside counsel and former in-house executive leadership, she brings a rare blend of legal insight and operational perspective to her work with mortgage lenders and fintech companies navigating today’s increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
Prior to joining Mitchell Sandler, Alex served as Chief Legal Officer and later Chief Executive Officer of a national mortgage services provider, where she oversaw compliance, quality control, and strategic advisory services supporting lenders nationwide. Her experience leading a mortgage services platform gives her a deep understanding of the operational realities facing lenders, allowing her to help clients implement compliance frameworks that are both legally sound and operationally sustainable.
Alex regularly counsels clients on federal and state mortgage laws including RESPA, TILA and the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID), HMDA, FCRA, the Fair Housing Act, GLBA, the Loan Originator Compensation Rule, the SAFE Act, and related consumer protection requirements. She frequently advises lenders on regulatory examinations, policy development, and risk management strategies as well as emerging issues affecting mortgage lenders and fintech companies.
Through her work with mortgage institutions across the country, Alex helps organizations navigate regulatory change while building compliant, scalable lending operations.
Paul Yarbrough

Paul Yarbrough is Senior Director, Head of Client Success Group and Data & Analytics at Mortgage Capital Trading (MCT). A mortgage industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, he leads the team responsible for helping lenders implement and optimize MCTlive! and MCT’s broader suite of secondary marketing solutions, with a focus on execution, risk management, and data‑driven decisioning.
Before joining MCT, Paul held secondary and capital markets positions at Evolve Bank & Trust, Willow Bend Mortgage, Nationstar, Service First Mortgage, and Realty Mortgage, giving him deep, hands‑on experience with pipeline hedging, best‑execution loan sales, and investor relationships. He has been recognized by HousingWire as an HW Insider and is actively involved with the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.
