Patty Arvielo is a self-made entrepreneur with more than 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She co-founded and leads the nation’s largest Latina-owned mortgage company, New American Funding. Arvielo manages the company’s operations and sales, while overseeing 168 locations and approximately 4,500 employees nationwide. She also oversaw the creation and expansion of the company’s retail lending operation, which grew a small local operation to a national powerhouse with 168 locations and thousands of employees across the country. The retail lending operation has delivered origination growth of as much as 50%-60% every year for the last nine years.
She is a 13-time Stevie Award winner, including recently being named Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Maverick of the Year at the 2021 Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Patty was also inducted into the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame, named one of Most Powerful Women in Mortgage by Mortgage Banker Magazine, recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Latinas by Latino Leaders Magazine, and named Latina Style’s Latina Executive of the Year.
A champion of fairness and equality, Patty created the Latino Focus and New American Dream initiatives, which aim to increase lending to underserved communities. Patty is leading the industry to help minority borrowers attain the dream of homeownership.
Additionally, Patty serves on the National Park Foundation Board of Directors, where she is instrumental in the creation of the LatinX Project to symbolize the Latino culture in America throughout our parks. Patty is also serving a three-year term on the Harvard Kennedy School Board and serves on the Board of Directors for Century Communities. She is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors, the Latino Donor Collaborative Board, Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, and the Mortgage Bankers Association Affordable Homeownership Advisory Council. She was also recently re-appointed to serve as a member of the Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee, a group that advises the Department of Housing and Urban Development on ways to build sustainable homeownership.
Patty is a popular speaker and featured expert on mortgage lending, homeownership, minority lending and serving underserved communities. She is also an active lobbyist for the housing industry and minority interests in Washington, D.C. and with numerous state governments.

During a very busy year in 2020 with rates at an all-time low, the Commerce Bank Mortgage team evaluated ways to continue future success. As a result, a new role was created to help develop strategic referral relationships and new revenue growth opportunities for CBM. Today, Commerce Bank Mortgage announces John Blair as the Mortgage Relationship Growth Manager.
Blair has been with Commerce for more than five years and has more than 25 years of experience in the residential lending industry. His strong connections with industry and community leaders throughout the Midwest empowers him to develop key strategic connections. In his new role, Blair will build relationships and cultivate leads with key referrals and will transfer customers to Commerce Bank’s mortgage originators to manage the homebuying journey.

Marissa French was raised in South Carolina before moving to Tennessee, a place she now calls home! She is fortunate enough to have started in the mortgage business at a very young age, which has given her the ability to experience 20 years actively originating in the state of Tennessee and building an amazing portfolio of exceptional clients that have become near and dear to her heart! Her business partner, Margo Krogulski, and she have together built a business that has positively impacted more families in their community than they can fathom sometimes or reflect back on; the journey has been challenging and rewarding!
She is happily married to her husband of 7 years, Scott French, and has a wonderful blended family of 4 rockstar young adults who are beginning their very own journey into adulthood! Her focus in this stage of life is family, work and travel (when the industry allows, HA).

Margo Krogulski, originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee moved to Knoxville in 1998 to attend the University of Tennessee. There in undergrad, she studied Evolutionary & Ecological Biology and did Masters work in Science Education. She entered the mortgage business, partnering with Marissa French around 2004 & they began flipping houses, selling real estate AND becoming a Mortgage Duo in Knoxville, Tn. She married Dan in 2010 and they had two daughters, Savannah, age 9 & Saylor, age 4. Between elementary school sports/activities, being a full time Producing Branch Manager, wife and mom…. In her free time, she enjoys hanging by the pool, boating, beaching, golfing, painting & UT Football Games.
One of the things that Margo loves most about the mortgage business is that her day is never the same; every file & every family is different. She enjoys using problem solving skills to figure out the tricky ones, and is always up for a challenge of credit, income and all of the crazy and difficult things that come along with the mortgage industry. She believes that communication, honesty and client education is her key to success.
Bryan Miller lives in Tupelo, Mississippi where he and his wife raised their three children, Bryanna, Catie, and Zach. Bryan enjoys watching his son compete in wakeboard competitions, filming, and doing photography. Bryan’s wife, Chanda, is a psychiatrist, and she owns her own clinic, Miller Psychiatry Clinic.
Bryan attended Jackson State University and majored in Special Education. In 2006, Bryan was given the opportunity to join the mortgage business with one of the top 5 mortgage companies in the country, and he eagerly accepted the position. He worked in the Jackson, Mississippi market for two years and received Rookie of the Year in 2007 after breaking records for that company.
Bryan and his family moved to Tupelo, Mississippi in March 2008 where Bryan took a job with a local bank doing mortgage loans. Bryan was new to the area and did not have an established book of business or referral partners, but he set small, obtainable goals every week and eventually became one of the top mortgage lenders in the state.
In 2021, Bryan Closed over 300 loans for over 80 million in production earning him the Gold Award for that company. In October 2021, Bryan Miller joined Movement Mortgage, and he is excited about his future with the company.

Stephanie Nelson is much more than JUST your mortgage loan officer. She is your neighbor, friend, and trusted advisor for all things mortgage. Her passion is to help guide you through, not only your mortgage loan process but also, to assist with questions long after closing. Stephanie is known for making her clients feel at ease during the loan process and loves to think outside the box to find the right mortgage solution. She credits her success to her strong team of assistants and managers.
Stephanie studied Finance at Arkansas State University and has spent 30 years working in the financial industry. The last 22 years have been dedicated to mortgage loans, exclusively. She has formed long-lasting relationships with many of her peers in finance and can provide a contact for almost any financial need. Stephanie was part of the 2021 President’s Club by being among the top 25 nation-wide with USA Mortgage, she served as Treasurer for the local Homebuilder’s Association for 2 years and is currently a member of Northeast Arkansas Board of Realtors and MBA.
She resides in Jonesboro with her husband, Brad, and their 3 children, Graham, Ben & Alyssa. In her spare time, Stephanie loves to be on a lake or at the beach with family and friends.
