Colleen Flynn is a Capital Markets Solutions Specialist at Black Knight with over 25 years of service in a variety of roles within the mortgage industry including originations, operations, correspondent lending and secondary services. In her role within Black Knight’s Secondary Marketing Technologies group, Colleen supports the Optimal Blue Secondary Services and CompassPoint suites of solutions by providing lenders with the education, consultation and customized solutions for their hedging and pipeline risk management strategies and needs to grow their business.

David Menke
VP, Secondary Marketing Manager
Capstar Bank
David Menke serves as VP, secondary marketing manager for Capstar Bank. David started in the mortgage business in 2004 with Countrywide Home Loans as a mortgage loan officer. He relocated to Tennessee in 2010 after the financial crisis and continued his career as a loan officer until 2011 when he transitioned into secondary marketing through an opportunity with Franklin Synergy Bank. In 2018, David was brought on to transition another local lender, Farmington Mortgage, a division of Capstar Bank, from the non-delegated to delegated style of underwriting and mandatory loan delivery execution and managed the process for obtaining FHA, VA, USDA, & Freddie Mac approvals.
In 2021, David was named a wall of fame member of Mortgage Capital Trading (MCT) for excellence in gain on sale and overall lift over best efforts. David is very involved in the local and state mortgage bankers associations and served as the 2020 president of the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association. He currently serves on the board of directors as president-elect of the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association. David has a 5 year-old daughter, Myla & wife Megan who he spends all of his free time with outside the rigors of the mortgage day to day.

Matt Wright

Matt Wright is the chief financial officer for First Community Mortgage, located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He currently oversees capital markets, accounting, servicing, post closing, and product administration. Matt has a degree in mathematics from the University of Tennessee and has lived in the Nashville area for 15 years with his wife and two children.
Matt has worked for First Community Mortgage for the last 13 years and started in the mortgage industry in 2003. He has held many different positions including processing manager, underwriter, VP of product development, and VP of capital markets before becoming the CFO in 2017. He is serving as the president of the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association in 2023. He received his CMB designation in December of 2020.

Paul Yarbrough

Secondary marketing expert Paul Yarbrough has joined San Diego-based MCT Trading Inc., a mortgage risk management provider, offering pipeline hedging, best-executive loan sales, and centralized lock desk services to oversee new client onboarding, manage the company’s secondary marketing technology and implement necessary solution training.
Yarbrough has 21 years of experience operating in the secondary marketing divisions at Evolve Bank and Trust, Willow Bend Mortgage, Nationstar, Service First Mortgage, and Realty Mortgage. Further, Yarbrough has detailed knowledge concerning how to leverage secondary marketing technology to proficiently run capital markets functions. “Paul will play an important role in implementing and training lenders on our secondary marketing technology platform, MCTlive!, as well as ancillary solutions,” says Curtis Richins, president of MCT. Mr. Yarbrough has a BA in finance from West Texas A&M with a minor in economics.
